Jennifer Kerner, MS, RDN, CCTD, LD, is a transplant dietitian at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC) in Cleveland. She has been active in volunteering with GCAND since becoming a dietitian in 2008, this is her second time being elected as the GCAND president. She was awarded Ohio Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in 2013 and was awarded Outstanding Preceptor by the Nutrition and Dietetic Educators & Preceptors Practice Group in 2015. She is involved in precepting interns at UHCMC through their transplant rotation and also as a research preceptor. She also is a trainer for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Nutrition Focused Physical Exam program.
